This last weekend really felt like fall in Hollywood. Whether or not that perfect weather will stay is yet to be determined, but we will enjoy it while it lasts. We went with Holly, Chris, and Whitney to a local pumpkin patch to get in the autumn spirit. It was fun to see all the different kinds of pumpkins, and a little astounding when we saw how much the pumpkins were selling for.
We do live in LA so everything is overpriced but come on! I think $75 is a little steep no matter how big or amazing the pumpkin looks.
I also had a few first time cooking experiences. I finally made a pot roast for Sunday dinner. I also made a cherry pie- my first pie ever. Sad, but true. I can't say it was all that impressive though since I used canned fruit filling and a mix for the crust. Not to mention that the very outer edge baked a little faster than the rest. Next time I'll know what I'm doing a little better, but you gotta start somewhere right?

The icon on my blog came from protectmarriage.com. There is a link at the bottom on the right side that says resources for churches and supporters. Click on that and scroll down a ways and you will find the buttons. I just tried to click on them and they weren't working, so maybe I can email you the html code. Do you think that will work? I guess we will see!
