Christmas

So I've been absent for a few months because I needed to update iPhoto on my computer and didn't get around to it until a week or two ago. Lame! But I'm back and playing catch up.

Jay's parents and brother John came to spend Christmas with us. Our neighbors, Hubbel and Rachel, just happened to be out of town at the exact same time that Jay's family came, so they graciously let them sleep at their apartment. Since our place is so small, it was nice to have some extra room (not to mention two extra bathrooms!)

We tried to stay busy with new LA places to visit while they were here. We visited Glendale Forest Lawn in search of Paul Walker's grave. (We found out he's at the Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn instead and went another afternoon to look for him).

We explored Greystone Mansion over in Beverly Hills.
She really wanted to swim with the turtles and fish
We went to Santa Monica Pier on Christmas Eve. That was a huge mistake. I don't know why we didn't realize it was going to be cra-azy! but it all worked out. Oh except for losing one of the cars for about 45 minutes. We thought we were parked in a different parking garage than we were. Oh the memories! Ha!
"No!" as in snow :)

This was not at the temple, just a decked out house in Burbank

On the way home from the Pier we stopped by the LA Temple and saw all the Christmas lights which were very pretty.

It's been a few years since we spent Christmas with family so it was extremely nice to have them come all the way out to spend the holiday with us.
