My dad and stepmom came to visit us the first weekend in December. We had so much fun with them, but I didn't take too many pictures.
On December 6, they came to our place and the kids had a lot of fun playing with them before we took them to the huge mall Jay works at. My dad even packed his light saber so he and Jack could have a light saber duel. Jack was so excited!! And of course I forgot to take a picture. Bummer! We shopped and dined at the mall, and had a good time.
On Saturday, we went to the California Science Center to check out the exhibits and the Shuttle Endeavour. Grandma and Grandpa were so sweet and bought both kids a little shuttle that revs its engine and then will drive when you pull it back. Both Jack and Claire were so excited and happily played with their shuttles until we decided to go back inside. And continue to play with them still. They love them!

After church on Sunday we went to an LDS church in Burbank to check out the 300 nativities on display, as well as hear our friend from church, Barbara, sing with her quartet. There was also a live nativity that was pretty neat to watch, and I liked being able to have Jack see the nativity played out and talk to him about it. Jay and Claire stayed home, which was a good call since Claire would've wanted to run around and there wasn't any place that was good for a one year old to be.

We are so glad Grandma and Grandpa Haddock came to visit, and can't wait to spend more time with them when we go to Utah to visit in a few months.
