I came across a website called House Party where you can apply to host parties and if you're accepted, they give you the supplies and you provide the people. I saw that I could apply to host a Lego Duplo party with Jake and the Neverland Pirate and Planes Legos. I jumped at the chance, since they would give me all the Legos and I throw a party with them. When I was chosen to host the party, I was thrilled!
Luckily our weather is still nice so we were able to have our party in the garden out back. It was perfect. The kids got to run around, play with Legos, eat food, and have a good time. I had all these grand ideas of making lego head cake pops and Lego box decorations and balloons, etc. But when it all came down to it, I think less was more. I was happy with my Lego banner and the Lego pinata, and the spread of food. And I'm so glad our friends were able to come play with us. Who doesn't like to go to a party just for the fun of it?
