Big changes are happening at our home. Jay got called to the high council and as Stake Young Men's President so Jay's dad flew out for the weekend at the beginning of June to ordain Jay a high priest. His mom would've come but his brother got an infection in his leg and she needed to stay and help him out since he couldn't drive and had lots of checkups after surgery. We missed her, but Jack still loved playing with Grandpa.
We tried to do some fun things with Grandpa. We took him to the beach and Jack insisted he build him a sand boat, while Jack sat back and watched. He was sad when the tide came in and washed it all away.
Grandpa also helped Jack fly his kite.
We took Grandpa to the pony and train rides close to our home, and Jack loved both.
And of course we had to play ball. Well, Jack and Grandpa did most of the playing while I sat and cheered the game on.
