Grandma Brenda sensed that our drive out to Utah wasn't the easiest, so she offered to drive back to CA with us on January 26, and spend a few days. Jack and I were elated to have company on our drive home. Jack loved having Grandma's full attention and she was so great with Jack that we had a great drive home.
We are down to one car, since there was a little accident with the Buick in December that totaled it, so we didn't do too much with Grandma here.
On Monday we got adventurous and took the bus to the LA Zoo, and had a great day with the animals. The only problem was we had to wait about an hour and a half to get a bus home even though they are supposed to come every 30 minutes. Luckily, Jane called to see if we wanted a ride to the store and ended up coming to get us instead. Thanks, Jane, for saving the day! One of the many reasons I feel like I can't take LA transportation anywhere. Grr.
We loved having Grandma here, and Jack was so sad to see her leave that he cried and actually said he was so sad that Grandma was leaving. Thanks, Brenda, for being our lifesaver!
