Jay's parents and brother came to visit us last week and we had a great time. We were even able to visit a few new places this trip. We went to a Japanese Garden down at the California State University of Long Beach (it was a lot smaller than we thought, but still beautiful if you don't mind the modern dance students who were strangely dancing around trees, bushes, and bridges). Jack got to feed the fish and had a blast.
We also went to the Skirball and explored the Noah's Ark exhibit again. I really love that place. I saw a lot more this time than I did last time and was just amazed at how awesome it is.
He loved playing the instrumentsOn Veteran's Day we went to a Veteran's celebration in Pasadena and then headed to Descanso Gardens.
We visited the newly redone LA Temple Visitor center and then met Jay as he got off work. We headed to the Observatory and then saw the 100 ft. Christmas tree at the Americana outdoor mall. I love this time of year!We really loved having Grandma Brenda, Grandpa Alan and Uncle John come visit. We had a great time!
