I was determined that Jack and I were going to visit a pumpkin farm this year, which I knew was going to be a bit of a drive, but worth it (if I had anything to do about it). I had heard how wonderful Underwood Family Farms was, but knew it was pricey. Each activity took tickets and the tickets were about $1 a piece unless you bought a whole bunch at once. Lucky for us, our neighbors had taken their little girl there and had bought a lot of tickets and hardly used any of them. They offered them to us, which I gladly took. Jay had to work but Jack and I had a great time. He especially loved the train, so we rode that twice. Look at that face!

We tried the bouncy house next. Once the little girl that was bouncing him left, he didn't like it too much. It was way more fun to have someone else bounce you than actually having to jump yourself, so he was done after that.

He then rode a pony for the first time. I think he liked it but wasn't too excited about it. I'm just glad he didn't get sad or scared. Right before it ended, I could hear him saying "all done" so it was good timing for the ride to end. But look how natural he looks!

Then we headed to the kid area where they had sand and slides, and the only thing he wanted to do was play on this little green tractor for 45 minutes. He was in tractor heaven.

We also climbed a huge hay stack and played on a hill. We saw the animals and went through a corn labyrinth. I didn't dare attempt the corn maze by myself, since I didn't want to end up lost in the middle of it, calling 911 to get help. I let Jack pick out a pumpkin thinking it was only 75 cents. He was so cute about it as he carried it and helped me wash it. Lucky for me when it ended up costing a few dollars (which I didn't have), he wasn't sad about leaving it. I think he was just happy he had been able to carry it around for a while.

It was a great day and well worth the 45 min drive!
