The past week we've been playing with our family in Utah. We drove to Las Vegas on Thursday, July 22 and stayed with Jay's cousin Wade and his wife Jessica, and their son Wyatt for the night. Jack was the first baby Wyatt has ever been around and I'm not sure what Wyatt thought of him. Wade and Jay are two months apart and so are Jack and Wyatt. We thought that was pretty cool.
Wade, Wyatt, Jay and JackOn Friday we drove to my mom's house in Lehi and had a little mini reunion with some of my mom's siblings. My uncle Kevin, his wife Corinne and their kids were down from Seattle so we had a little BBQ at a park. I also got to see my cousin Andrea whom I haven't seen since I got married. It was so great to be with my extended family. Hopefully we can plan a big reunion soon and all get together.
On Saturday, my family got together at Erin and Brian's in Smithfield (minus Jim and Alec- we missed you two!). We got to meet the twins, Brock and Isaac, and my newest niece, baby Jane who was just over a week old. We had a great time talking and eating and watching the kids play. It was especially fun to watch the older kids play with the three boys and try to get them to laugh.

Shannan and baby JaneWe stayed at Erin and Brian's for the weekend with Shannan and her girls. We had all the kids in bed by 10 pm Sunday night and were able to play a few games and reminisce about old rafting trips. What a great time!
Monday we headed up to Bear Lake to visit my dad and his wife at their condo. We ate lunch and then headed to the beach where the kids played, and my sisters and I hung out with the babies. Afterward we headed back to the condo and had dinner and FHE with my dad, Sharon, and my step-sister Kristy and her family. It was a fun day- and Jack did pretty well considering we were outside most of the day and he couldn't really nap as much as usual.
