Jay's brother, Jess and his wife Jennae made a quick trip to CA for the holiday weekend, and we were so glad we got to spend Saturday with them. We went to the Santa Monica Pier and walked through the Third Street Promenade. Then we headed to Diddy Riese's for a delicious ice cream sandwich, and since that wasn't enough sweets for the day, we stopped by Stan's Donuts for a treat later that night. Jay and I got the Huell Howser donut, in case anyone was wondering. YUM!
(trip to Stan's Donuts is dedicated to Jim, Shannan, and the girls)Jack loved Jennae. He wanted her to hold him as soon as he saw her, and just smiled and laughed the whole time she played with him. I'm sure he's excited to see her again when we go to Utah in a few weeks.
