On Tuesday we realized that it was a free day at the Gene Autry Museum and decided it was time for us to go. It's only about 5 minutes from our place so it's sad it took us almost 4 years to get there. We didn't get there until around 2 because we hadn't realized it was a free day until around 1:30, and the museum closes at 4. We thought we'd be able to see everything they had but we were wrong. The museum is huge and we had to rush through a few exhibits toward the end, and didn't even make it to two other exhibits. We definitely need to go back because it was great! Too bad we didn't take better advantage of all of the other free museum days when I was on maternity leave. I guess we'll get there in time though.
