Sewing Project

My friend Holly has wanted to make a nursing cover for a few months, so Holly, Jane and I decided to have a Friday night get together and all make nursing covers, since we will all need them soon. Lucky for me, all I had to do was buy the supplies for my cover and Jane took care of getting the instructions and explaining them to me. I was a little nervous that I might mess this easy project up because it's been a very, very long time since I've sewn anything. We worked on them all night Friday but we were able to finish all three nursing covers. I'm not in love with my material, but I figure it will work well for its purpose so it doesn't matter too much.
I'm so excited to use this cover instead of a blanket since I won't have to worry about it falling off. I had actually never even heard of nursing covers until a month or two ago, and I think it's ingenious. Now that we're in the sewing mood, we're trying to think of other easy baby sewing projects we can do together. Any ideas?

Looks great! How funny that we're both sewing nursing covers right now. (I'm so wishing I had one of these with Max and Emily.)

So why are you sewing a nursing cover, Adrienne? I've heard these also called hooter hiders. That might be a brand name but even so, it's alot more fun to say than nursing cover. :)

Crib sheets are a fun and easy project and you can use what ever color or pattern of material you like.
