Last Wednesday Jay and I flew to Utah for 5 days for Jay's younger brother Jess's wedding. We hadn't seen our family since Christmas so we were happy for the excuse to make a trip (although we were planning on going to Utah with or without a wedding this summer, the wedding was a great reason.)
We spent Thursday and Friday helping out with the last minute details for the wedding and luncheon, and also spending time with Jay's family. On Friday, Jay's older sister Barb and her 5 kids came over to Jay's parents house to hang out. The wind was blowing so hard and a few of the kids decided they wanted to go jump on the tramp with some blankets to try and catch the wind. They had a great time and spent a long time out there. I didn't dare go jump in that wind.

On Saturday, Jess and Jennae were sealed in the Logan temple. We are so happy for Jess and Jennae, and are glad Jay's family is growing bigger. Our fourth anniversary is at the end of this month and I loved that we were able to reflect on our own wedding day as we watched Jess and Jennae in the temple. Unfortunately I left my camera in the car so I didn't get any pictures of the happy couple. I'll post some pictures when I get the chance.
On Sunday we went over to my sister Erin's house to spend the day with my family. Adrienne, Jeff, and my mom came over and we spent the night talking, eating, playing games, and just having a good time being together. As always Ellie, Max, and Emily were entertaining us all night. I love those kids!
The original plan for Monday was to go to Cherry Hill, but we were all worried that the weather wasn't going to cooperate so we decided to take a trip to Hogle Zoo instead. Lauren and Alec were able to get the day off from work and met us there. Although it did rain on and off throughout our trip, the kids were great and we were still able to see a lot of the animals. It was so fun to just hang out and enjoy being with family this weekend.
