What a Weekend!

We took a trip down to Redondo Beach on Valentine's Day to attend our friend Cristin's wedding. It was held at her friend's beautiful home that had a wonderful view of the ocean. I definitely wouldn't complain if I lived there! It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so glad we could celebrate that wonderful event with Cristin and Jason.

After the wedding on Saturday we had a fun double date with our friends Seth and Jane. We had dinner at Fuddruckers and then saw "He's Just Not That Into You". It was a great Valentine's Day.

On Sunday Shannan and her three cute girls came to stay the night with us. We played the Wii and watched "Wall-E". We wanted to go to the zoo on Monday, but there was a 100% chance of rain so we decided to go check out the California Science Center down by USC. That place is huge and we spent 4 hours there and only saw about half of the Science Center. After we left the California Science Center we checked out Travel Town in Griffith Park to see some real trains. We then headed back to our place for more Wii and some dinner. We are so glad that even though most of our family lives far away, we still have Shannan and her family close enough to see more than once a year. Thanks for coming to visit us Shannan, Kaitlyn, Rachael, and Malia!

You have some way cute pictures from our weekend! Will you email them to me? Except the ones of me in my white sweater...I look like an old lady! We had a great weekend, too. You summarized it much better. I think I was too wordy in my post! Oh well. It's for journaling purposes, right!

Maybe we can go to Travel Town when I come out in a couple of weeks. Max would go CRAZY over those trains!
