Happy Halloween!

Our ward had its first Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday. Here are some of our favorite trunks and costumes.

A very cute chicken and Dale Ernhart

A bunny and her chicken.
Leslie and Tim as "All That" and "A Bag of Chips". Classic.
We tried to dress up as rock stars, but we didn't really spend that much time or energy with our look. So, here's what you got instead. Next year, I think we'll be vampires. I did tell some people that Jay was Edward from the "Twilight" books, and they all agreed that he would make a good Edward. Next year, for sure. His mohawk sure looked good though.

We carved our very first jack-o-lantern on Thursday. It's sad that we've been married for three years and this was the first pumpkin we ever bought. I think after this year, we'll be more likely to buy another one.

On Halloween we went to a friend's Halloween party in the heart of West Hollywood. There is always a ridiculously huge Halloween party in West Hollywood that night, and we definitely felt it later when it took us over an hour to drive 4 miles to get home. Even though we had a great Halloween, I think next year we may stay at home instead!

Love the costumes. At least you and Jay dressed up. I keep thinking I will every year, but I never get around to making my own costume. Maybe next year. I feel so bad because I forgot about Jay's show and I missed it! :(

Yeah, that is way too long to wait in traffic to get 4 miles. Your costumes looked cute. I forgot to have my friend record Jay's show for me since we don't get the channel it was on so I missed it too. Any chance of sending us a copy or watching it online that you know of?

That would be excruciating! You probably could have walked home faster! You look pretty good, considering it sounds like you just threw it together. And your trunk or treat looks great. This Halloween definitely made me think I want to decorate more next year.

We missed Jay, too, just because we didn't have any channels that carried the show (even though I am sure I have seen it on before, but I looked and looked for days and couldn't find it - GRRRR!). But Dad told us how he did and said he has it recorded at home. So Erin and Adrienne should borrow it from Dad. And I hope you have it recorded? And you could bring it out in a few weeks? I would love to see Jay in action. Way to go, by the way!
