Facing the Inevitable

It was bound to happen. Everyone in my family has them. So, it was only a matter of time before I would need glasses also. I had my very first eye exam a week ago (I probably shouldn't have waited quite that long) , and I got my glasses yesterday. I don't need them all the time, but I wore them all day today to get used to them. It's a different experience, that's for sure.
So, here's the new look.

Love the glasses! I had no idea that you had been needing to get glasses. Does this mean you are really part of the family now? (You know, since you weren't before.) ;)

Your glasses are really cute! Do you need them just to read or do you get to wear them all the time? They look awesome.

Luckily, I only really need them to read. Although I'm having a hard time adjusting. They seem to magnify everything which makes it hard to focus sometimes. We'll see how they work out.
