Halloween Activities

We had quite a few Halloween outings we attended this year. It was so much fun since Claire is older and can participate a lot more than she could last week.

We had a great time at Boo at the Zoo. We even got in a little early since we have a membership. The kids loved trick or treating and seeing the animals play and smash pumpkins. I loved spending time with Izzy from "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" and Luke Skywalker.

Burbank had a city carnival for the little kids at a rec center with lots of fun activities. The best part was we met up with our good friends, the Badureks! Always lots of fun when they're around!

Our ward had a Trunk-or-Treat at the church. Even though it was not well attended (we had 5 cars that decorated their trunks), the kids still had a fun time. Since Claire and I were pirates, I tried to decorate the trunk accordingly. I never feel like I know what I'm doing with our trunk. Ha! But check out Jay's amazing map skills.

We waited til the last minute to carve our pumpkin, but it was still fun. Jack even drew the face and then helped carve it out.

We went trick or treating in a neighborhood close to us that we went to last year, and it did not disappoint. Lots of houses were all decked out for the holiday and we even hit one house that handed out full sized candy bars. Score!!

Claire finally got her first haircut the day before Halloween. It was getting scraggly and long, so I trimmed it and had my neighbor, Rachel, layer the back layers and it looks so cute!
