One word is going to completely change our world...
Not because I'm going to spend all of our money there and send us into bankruptcy, but because Jay is going to be working there, in the Women's Shoe Salon. He was offered the job today, starts training next week, and then will start working full time as of Sept. 19. Lucky for me, I've had a little practice being a stay-at-home mom all by myself the past few weeks as Jay's been painting for some friends. It'll be a new experience to be home alone with Jack all day. This will force me to plan daily activities to get Jack and me out of the house and doing some fun things, and also to manage my time more wisely so that I can make the most of the time we have with Jay when he is home. I feel extremely blessed that both Jay and I have been home with Jack since he was born. It's been absolutely fabulous to see him grow up together, without either of us having to miss out on anything. I know that is super rare, and I do realize how wonderful it's been. So now we start the next phase in our family adventures. We're excited, and a little nervous (because change always makes me a little nervous...) but we know it will be great.
