On Saturday, as well as turning 4 months old, Jack went to his first service project. We helped clean up Fern Dell as part of Mormon Helping Hands. Jack helped out by sleeping the whole time so Jay and I could help (well mostly Jay since I stayed close to Jack).
Later that day we headed to Manhattan Beach with our friends. Jay had an audition so he didn't get to see Jack at the beach for the first time, so I held off on getting Jack in the ocean which wasn't hard since it was a chilly 68 degrees and there was a strong wind. Jay did come down and met Seth, Jane and me for dinner at a great Japanese noodle restaurant. I love Saturdays!

Sunday was our first Mother's Day and it was great! Jay made me breakfast and was able to take Jack to Elder's Quorum since he was released last week as the EQ President. After church, Seth and Jane had a few people over to celebrate Mother's Day. They had delicious Cafe Rio style pork burritos with all the fixings. The food was so good and it was great to hang out with such wonderful people. What a great weekend!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful ladies I know!
