Ok, so there are actually a lot of great Christmas presents we've received, but our toaster oven has been an unexpected bonus. At first we thought we'd never use it because it's big and we have to store it on top of the our kitchen cupboard so it's not the easiest thing to access. However, once we realized that we could pretty much make everything in it, we use it frequently. We have a little AC unit that really only cools the living room and it's been pretty hot here the past few weeks, so it's been so nice to be able to use that little toaster oven instead of our regular oven that heats up the whole apartment. I've used it to make banana bread, pizza, french fries, pitas, and I'm sure I'll find a lot more things to use it for.
