We had a great weekend celebrating Jay's birthday. On Friday we went over to Hollywood to watch "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The theater was so cool! And it's huge. It has 1200 seats. We have been over to Hollywood many times, but this was the first time we'd watched a movie over there. I bought Jay sunglasses, fins, and fin socks to use with his boogie board so he can get some good waves at the beach this summer.
On Saturday we went to a party for our friend, Elizabeth's work. The bakery she works for moved locations and they had a party to show off their big kitchen. Of course Elizabeth made the most amazing desserts, and we all ate way too much. Afterward we hung out with Holly, Chris, Seth, Jane, Heather and Tom. I love that we have so many great friends here.
Sunday we had dinner with Seth and Jane and then had a little party with our close friends to celebrate Jay's birthday. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends. Thanks to all of you for making Jay's birthday great!
