Dear Attorneys,
Today was a great Administrative Assistant's Day. Thanks for not giving us too much work so that we could leave early and go to lunch. And thanks for not complaining too much when you found out that we would be going to a spa to get manicures and pedicures instead of coming back to work for the rest of the day. Thanks for the gifts and cards telling us how much you appreciate us and how you couldn't do your job without us. We already know that you can't function without us, but it's nice to know that you recognize that fact every once in a while. We were definitely spoiled today, and we are very grateful for the recognition. It almost made the last minute copy jobs to get that motion ready to file by noon worth it. It almost made the constant nagging we have to do in order to get that MSJ finished that's been sitting on your desk for a week that needs to be mailed by 5:00 pm worth it. It almost made the running from the copy room to your office and back to get your signature on those last minute responses that you knew you had to finish two days before and waited til the last half hour to finish worth it. It almost made our constant crazy days at work worth it. Almost.
