Holly and Chris invited us to spend a day at the LA County Fair with them on Saturday. Jay had an acting workshop so he joined us later in the afternoon, but the rest of us got to the fair at 11:30 a.m. and stayed until 11:30 p.m. We had a blast! We saw all kinds of animals, visited the displays and shopping centers, and Whitney got to pet a horse and donkey, and she went sledding for the first time.
Holly and I decided that we wanted to get some type of deep fried food, we just had to decide what. We pondered all day and ended up getting a deep fried twinky and deep fried oreos. Not as good as we were hoping, but it definitely made our first LA County Fair experience a memorable one. Next year I know I'm going to try something chocolate covered. Yum.
