Jay and I have now lived in LA for two years, and it sometimes feels like we've been here forever and like we just moved here at the same time. Hopefully the next two years will be just as fun and will bring many good changes.
We were so happy to have so much family come visit us recently. We had a great time with Erin, Brian, and Ellie, and just a week after they left Jay's parents and little sister, Deb, came to see us for a week. We took them stargazing at the Griffith Observatory, shopping at the new Americana outdoor mall, boogie boarding at Newport Beach, and had a blast at Knott's Berry Farm. Brenda and Alan also played a Wii for the first time. What a great way to spend a vacation. Oh, and don't forget the fun filled day they spent helping Jay paint our new apartment.

Last Saturday Barb and Anthony came out to see us for the first time. We took them to the 3rd Street Promenade and Pier in Santa Monica , went to the Long Beach Aquarium, watched "Dark Knight", visited the sticky La Brea Tar Pits, and had a little bike ride on the beach. And the best part...thanks to Barb and Anthony we saw 'Wicked' last night, which was pretty awesome in and of itself.
We were very sad to see all of our visitors leave, but so glad we were able to spend time with them. Thanks to all our family who came to see us!
