"Thank You for the Music"

After we emailed all of our friends with our new blog, one of Jay's former USU college singing buddies, Kim Badger, remembered we lived in LA and emailed saying she was going to be out here with her chamber choir from Arizona State University, and that their choir was singing at a Korean church not too far from our home. So, Jay decided to take the night off from class, and we headed down into Mid-Wilshire to catch the show. It is always so fun to check out new parts of the town and to see all the different churches in the area.
It had been about three years since we have been to a choir concert, seeing as how we had no reason to go to one after Jay graduated. We thoroughly enjoyed the two hour concert, especially the young Korean girl choir all in their matching white dresses and white gloves.

Not only did we get to hear great music and see Kim, but we also go to see another of Jay's singing buds, Jamilyn White, who played opposite Jay in "The Ballad of Baby Doe" back in 2006 (and did a fabulous job, might I add).

It was so good to see you, Kim and Jamilyn. Come back and see us often and we wish you the best of luck with your singing careers. And even Jay admits on the way home he was a little blue reminiscing about all the good times you guys had, and how much he misses singing with his friends from USU.
