I was able to get off work early last week due to Good Friday, so Jay and I went for our first hike in Griffith Park. We hiked up to the real Mount Hollywood (not the one with the Hollywood sign). It was a beautiful, warm day even if it was a little too smoggy for our liking (it always is). We had no idea that Griffith Park was so green and beautiful!

Mount Hollywood is the peak behind the monument.

Yesterday we had a day off so we went to the LA temple and since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to finally check out The Getty Museum. This place is huge, and would take days to walk through and really see everything. We took some pictures of some famous paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, Manet, and Degas, but none of those pictures turned out. Maybe next trip we'll have a new camera! I love the gardens, and Jay really liked the marble sculptures. Plus, there is a beautiful view of the city and the beach (as long as the smog permits, which it didn't).

We will definitely be going back to the Getty. It's a must see!
